First Time Juvederm Lip Fillers at the Gild Clinic

Lip fillers have become increasingly popular thanks to celebrities such as Kylie Jenner and TOWIE stars, women are looking for bigger lips but not all of us look to fillers to go bigger but to fix misshapen lips. At the beginning of March, I visited the Gild Clinic, to see how Juvederm Lip Fillers could correct my wonky smile.

The Gild Clinic, based in Moorgate London, is a partner of the Harley Academy, the UK’s largest Cosmetic Medical School. They are a training clinic for medical professionals to train in cosmetic injectable treatments, offering treatments at affordable prices for cosmetic models. Lip Filler treatments start from £100 and performed by supervised cosmetic students who are either qualified doctors, dentists, midwives or nurses.

When I arrived at the gild clinic I was asked to read and fill out a disclaimer form, asking if I was taking any medication, any medical history they should be aware of and any allergies. I was then taken into a treatment room where I met the medic in training and their supervisor for the treatment. We discussed the lip filler treatment and what I was hoping to achieve with the fillers, which was to add some symmetry to my lips. To achieve this, I had 1ml of Juvederm.
